When I open the remote application EOS and select the connection of the camera, I see the camera appears at the bottom of the window as a Wi - Fi connection, but it does not appear as a camera detected at the top of the window. it's a 'plug and play' printer then the Assistant told me simply plug the printer rather than add a printer manually.
Its driving me crazy! I tried to 'add printer' Wizard too. the MP490 software is loaded and visible in the control panel/Add/Remove of installed software/programs.
I can hear the USB chime every time I connect the printer to a USB port or turn the printer on or off, but when I go to print or to do something that requires that the drivers, nothing happens. I can't connect my Canon MP490 to my PC under XP
